No more skins.

Skip the lift lines and let our snowcat take you deep into the Eastern Sierra. We have shifted to a fully mechanized experience, no longer requiring guests to bring touring gear. Untracked lines through open bowls, beautiful glades, and steep chutes await right outside the snowcat door and occasionally accessed by a quick boot-pack. New this season, reserve your individual seat in a group of ten as we explore our 9,000 skiable acres.

How it Works

8:00 : Arrive at Conway Summit all geared up for the day. Meet your guides and get an orientation of conditions and our safety protocols.

8:30 : Your guides will lead an Avalanche Safety Briefing including practice with your transiever, shovel, and probe.

9:00 : Now for the fun part! Head 7 miles into our corner of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest.

9:30 : Get dropped off at the top of a slope, ski, ride 10-25 minutes back up, and repeat. Our days revolve around skiing, typically riding 8,000-13,000 ft per day.

12:30 : Lunch including wraps, soups, and tea will be eaten in the field as we ride.

1:00 : More powder, wiggles, smiles, etc.

4:30 : Load back up in the cat and enjoy an après snack and beverage on our way back to your car.

5:00 : High fives and celebrate how epic your day was.

Did you love our Original Product?

Book a private and bring your skins for Snowcat-Assisted Ski Touring!

We get it, skiing can be a little sweeter when you’ve earned your turns. If you’d like to bring touring gear and get into some of our bigger terrain, we would be stoked to take you there.

Expect a mixture of cat laps and touring adventures. With this type of tour, we will pick a big objective or two and hike up from the snowcat drop offs. This is a great way to get a mixture of hiking and easy pow turns packed into one day!

“We love taking people skiing. We love the Sierra Nevada. We love our cozy yurts, ready to welcome you after a epic day in the mountains. Can’t wait to share this experience with you!”
